to the Metropolitan Washington DC Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in

How
will gifts made to the Appeal be distributed?
Gifts given generally
to the Appeal will be distributed on an equal basis to all thirteen participating
institutions and agencies. You may, however, designate your contribution to particular
agencies and institutions. Can
my gifts remain anonymous to the agencies receiving designated gifts?
Yes.
This may be done by checking the "I wish this gift to remain anonymous"
box on the contribution envelope. For tax purposes, you will receive an acknowledgment
of your contribution form the Appeal; however, honoring your request, your name
and address will not be shared with the agencies. How
much of the Appeal contributions will go to the agencies and institutions?
All
gifts received through the Appeal go directly to the participating organizations.
The administrative costs of the Appeal are underwritten by the agencies and institutions
from other funds. How
